The Koš biogas station was commissioned in 2013 and consists of a single cogeneration unit with an output of 0.999 MW, which is connected to the distribution system via its own connection point. Following successful construction, the project was handed over to the investor in December 2013.

About project
Electricity is generated from biogas produced by processing biodegradable waste from animal and plant production. The plant produces approximately 8,200,000 kWh of electricity per year, which corresponds to the consumption of almost 1,900 households. The plant also saves approximately 5,740 tons of CO₂ per year.
