The Kokšov – Bakša biogas plant was completed and put into operation in 2013. In December of the same year, we successfully completed construction and terminated our contractual participation in the project. As part of the project, a 0.999 MW cogeneration unit was installed, which is connected directly to the distribution network.

About project
Electricity is generated from biogas produced by processing biodegradable waste from plant and animal production. The station produces approximately 8.2 million kWh per year, which corresponds to the annual electricity consumption of approximately 1,900 households. The plant also contributes to reducing CO₂ emissions by more than 5,700 tons per year.
